November 20th, 2009 Release: The Hockey Academy is proud to announce that grade 11 student Nathan Burns was selected to Team Pacific for the 2010 Under 17 World Championships that take place this January in Timmins, Ontario. The top 16 year old hockey players from around the world will be taking part in this prestigious tournament. Team Pacific is comprised of the top 20 players from Alberta and BC. Nathan currently plays for the Vancouver Giants (WHL) and will be participating in his second year of the academy when his season ends.
